The Importance of a Strong BUTT

Your glutes are one of the largest and most important group of muscles in your body. Your butt consists of three major muscles: the glute maximum, glute medius, and glute minimus. Its not because strong glutes look amazing that make them important, its because they consist of these three muscles to work together to abduct, rotate and extend the hip making them vital to everyday movements.
A lot of today's jobs require us to spend so much time sitting that our glutes "turn off" or stop firing as efficiently, effectively, and strongly as they should.
Once your glutes stop firing, your hip flexors (the muscles that pull the thigh forward) get tight and this can then lead to injury.Your glutes work to stabilise the pelvis and keep integrity of movement in the hip joint. When they're strong, you will find you will have less problems such as lower back pain and knee pain.
Beating the Back Pain: You will find that lower back pain will start to improve when your glutes are stronger and you start to "fire" them up correctly. As your glutes work to stabilise the pelvis and keep integrity of movement in the hip joint, when they are strong your lower back doesn't bear the brunt of your motion.
Knee Pain: By having strong glute meds, it will keep the pelvis stable from swaying side to side. When your pelvis isn't stable, it can put a lot of pressure on your knees and ankles to compensate.
When your butt muscles are strong it will help to prevent this from happening naturally and keep you safe from injury.
Having a stronger booty is also really beneficial if you want to be a stronger athlete. Stronger glutes will improve your speed, agility, jumping skills and running.
