Life Hacks: Living a Healthy Lifestyle

When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, try these tips and tricks:

Live an active lifestyle: Get yourself outside and move your body! Get out into the gardens, go spend some time at the beach, go for walks in breath taking scenery, go to the park and play some fun social sports with friends. Do something thats going to get you outdoors and active whilst having fun doing it.

Drink plenty of water: Carry around a drink bottle with you everywhere you go or in your car, always have water on your desk at work or at uni. Drink water in between meals, sometimes your body isn't hungry it's just dehydrated.

Wake up early: Wake up at the same time everyday, if you wake up early you have plenty of time to take on the day and complete your daily tasks. 6:00am is a really good time to wake up everyday if you can, sometimes we have to get up super early because of work, make sure you allow yourself enough time in the morning so you don't start your day feeling rushed/stressed and unorganised.

-Get enough sleep: Go to bed at a reasonable time so that you can get up early in the morning and feel good when you do so. Ensure your body is getting enough sleep so you feel recharged and energised.

-Exercise: Exercise will not only make you feel great and full of energy but strong, healthy and fit. Exercise will also help promote weight loss if you are also eating a well balanced healthy diet. We should be working out at least 3-4 times per week and in between workouts being active and moving your body in other ways such as walking or doing things around the house.

-Challenge yourself: "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you"Do things to get out of your comfort zone, perhaps you've always wanted to try boxing but always been put off by how hard it actually is. Nows the time to try something new because you may just fall in love with it.

- Eliminate processed foods: Stop eating "Man Made" food all the time, it isn't food its "food like" products. Yes it may be convenient and easy, but it really isn't doing you any good. Eat food that comes from the ground, a bush or a tree, that is what we call REAL FOOD , and real food fuels your body. Not to mention provides it with all the essential nutrients it requires to function.

-Have YOU time: Start making more time just for you. Have a relaxing bath with essential oils and candles, tune out from the world and go for a walk with just you and your favourite music. It's important that you put some of your energy into yourself.

- Eat a colourful diet: Eat a variety of vegetables and fruits, try and have a range of different colours on your plate, different colours mean more antioxidants, vitamins or minerals.

I hope you take something valuable from these tips listed and it can help you to make your lifestyle a little healthier than what it currently is.
