As a busy women who is working, running the show and trying to do it all, it can be hard to find the time to prioritise your fitness. I always say, if you want to perform better in your job, as a boss, as a mum then looking after your health is NUMBER ONE, when you do you have more mental clarity, patience and energy to absolutely smash it in your week!

This can also help to prevent osteoporosis and other age-related conditions that can occur from no regular exercise or strength training.

  2. Improved metabolism: Strength training can also boost your metabolism, helping you to burn more calories throughout the day and making it easier to maintain or lose weight.

  • Do bodyweight exercises or use some resistance bands, to complete a quick workout, something you can do at home or on the go when you need to travel around.

  • Try to include strength training in your daily routine by doing exercises such as push-ups or squats while watching TV or during a lunch break or even while the jug boils.
